Correct me if I am wrong, but as I understand it, home built before 1980 don’t really have a title and are bought and sold with just a bill of sale… is this correct? I am looking at a 1973-74 model… for the sake of discussion.

What state? In Ohio, they all have titles regardless of year, just like automobiles.
