Rob,

“Principals Only”, “No Agents”, means they do not want Real Estate Agents to call on the ad. The people want to sell the property themselves.

$Cash$

Can anyone tell me what it means in R.E classifieds when it says “Principals only”

Aren’t I a principle if I do a leas/option and assign it to the T/B?

Thanks

$CASH$ is right. but to ad one more item, sometimes Realtors use that phrase to let others know they have an “Exclusive” Listing, meaning the house is not in the MLS & he gets all the commission and no other Realtors will. So the house may be listed. But still call anyway to find out. By the way, usually an “exclusive” listing means that the seller is only paying 1/2 the normal commission. Instead of 6% it’s only 3%.
