In most states, Secretary of State has a form that permits change of name for the LLC.

I would like to change the name of my LLC, or at least change the name that it operates under. Can this be done simply…without refiling all of the papers when the LLC was originally formed?
The LLC is a Michigan company, operating in Michigan.
