I think you will almost always find these so-called profit sharing ideas a scam. It started about 10 years ago with those role models for fraud: Tom Vu and McKorkle. Be very careful.
Go to Jack Reed’s web site for related “guru ideas” at www.johntreed.com. He is sort of cranky, but has a good take on the rip off artists in real estate.

Hello, recently I met someone who told me there are investers who will give you money to buy a fixer upper etc. adn then you split the profit 50/50. I have searched for information on-line but have not found anything. Is this true? If so does anyone have any idea where to find such people?
