Hi everybody,

I have been studying and researching various real estate investing techniques for some time now. I finally feel ready. I may even have some good possibilities for my first deal. But I am back to my original problem, money. I am divorced, have a discharged backrupcy about 1 1/2 years ago, but, I have a good job and make a decent salary. I own a home, that I saved from foreclosure (no thanks to my ex). Now, before I can make an offer I think that I need to be pre-approved for a mortgage. Where should I look for financing? The properties I am interested in are to buy, fix up and re-sell. After I have done 2-3 of those I do want to look into keeping some as rentals. Any advice on where to look for financing would be greatly appreciated. To me the financing is the scariest part and if I get past this there will be nothing stopping me. I love real esate and can’t wait to be a real investor!
