Trying to refi a property with a newly formed corporation is going to be very difficult unless you find a lender that will allow title to be held in the corporate entity providing the “note” to repay the debt is executed by someone in an individual capacity. Assuming the individual has acceptable credit and the LTV% and other loan requirements are met , a lender may go along with this scenario.

Have any of you been successful in refinancing a property (with an existing mortgage) in the name of a newly created company/ corporation? If so, what requirements do most banks have for the new company/ corporation? How does one establish a credit history with a corporation they have recently created?

Thanks in advance.
