I have been keeping an eye on this board for several weeks now. My husband (Military officer who will be retiring in about 3 years) and I are beginning to look into REI as a post-military life business. We are currently living in Hawaii (Honolulu - island of Oahu). My plan was to educate ourselves as much as possible before we left here (supposed to be another year or we could be here for another 2 or 3 - Uncle Sam has been known to play tricks on you)on the nuts and bolts of REI in general before we find out where we will finally be setting up housekeeping next. We are starting to educate ourselves about the market here on Oahu - as a matter of fact we’re getting ready to head out today to look at some townhouses and condos. My question is whether anyone out there has any experience with the market here in Hawaii. Any information would be really appreciated. Thanks - Susan
