Thanks, now I can get a better idea of the home when only the width & length or beds & baths is included in the info.

Oh, thanks Karl for your ‘informative’ response. I knew you were well informed, but WOW, such and exposition of valuable info. Cut and Paste

Hi all,

Is there a relationship between the number of bedrooms & baths to the width and length of the home?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Robert (Houston)

I’ve never seen a 12x60 that started out with more than 2 BRs, though I’ve converted space (tip-out or dining room) in such homes into a 3rd BR to help sell the home. 14x70’s have 2 or 3 BR’s, though I saw one with 2 BR’s added on. 16x80’s generally have 3BRs, though I’ve seen 4. I’ve no clue on double-wides.

Robert,

Yes. In general, the more bedrooms and baths there are, the longer and wider the home will be.
