I am looking for people who are currently in the san diego area and are succesfully investing. The market seems to be so hot here right now that just about everything listed is getting full asking price or more plus as is.
If anyone has any creative ideas on finding properties in a really hot market I would greatly appreciate any ideas.

I am in the SD market. And you are right about it. Offering on listed properties is mostly a waste of time unless you plan on immediately re-selling (the greater fool theory) or you could try to LO it someone who can’t qualify. I think you are better off looking for properties not listed- abandoned properties, boarded up proeprties, properties with overgrown yards. You are going to have to dig deeper than normal.
