I’d suggest that you do not follow through on this. In my opinion such sales are not for beginners. There are way too many risks involved. They require knowledge of title searching and other matters. My view is that they are only people who have several years of real estate investing experience, and not all of those people either.

For more details, I have written an article on this topic “Is Foreclosure Investing for You?”, which can be found on the “money ideas” section of this CREONLINE.COM website.

I am interest in going to sheriff sale at the end of the month. I need all the info I can get. The ad only listed a $4500 minimum to cover a debt. How does this work. Do I have to buy out the existing mortgage from the bank? Are the auctions aggressive? This is a townhouse, are there any complications with an association when property is aquired this way?

I would appreciate any info you can give.

thanks,
