Yes with intrest rates this low the rental market is soft here also. I’m still finding renters though, for me its just a matter of ajusting rents slightly below market.
I seem to be keeping my places full that way, and still pulling in a positive cash flow.
I am in Phoenix, AZ area. I own a small apartment building and recently I experienced some high vacancy problem. Does anyone else have the same problem? I think more and more people are buying houses nowadays.
Yes, I agree that the rental market is not quite what it used to be (here in CT). It is not bad, though. Very high-rent properties are slower. We are selling some of our lower end properties because the excellent seller market–it is never bad to take some profits!
