What are the returns in your area for each type of property you might be interested? What are risks? How volatile have the markets been historically? What competition do you face in the market place?
Marketing research and a financial plan would go a long way towards answer this question…

My Brother and I opened and LLC and have 100k cash to invest in a property. My Brother wants to do commercial ie Stores, Shopping Centers. I want to do multi unit apartment buildings.
My Question is what should we do first? I have seen some 7 and 8 unit buildings for sale that I like, but am at a loss as what to do.
Any Suggestions?
