I am hoping to tap into the knowledge base here at creo to help me find out of this is a viable option or not.
I am a Canadian citizen working in the hospitality industry and have developed a relationship with an american company who is interested in a partnership investment in a hotel in canada. The only huge barrier at this point is information on canadian taxation of american investors in canada.
Does anyone have a link or any information on what taxes would be imposed or what investment limits are in place for an american entity to invest in a property in canada.
I would be the registered owner / operator of the hotel, but the capital is coming from a US Source.
Any information is greatly appreciated!!
