I used to manage 1200 units in Florida. The only way I would ever do this is with all parties present and actually write a new lease. All parties have to agree and put it in writing. You DEFINITELY have to have his permission, at least in the State of Florida. This could be a sticky issue and I would consult a local RE Attorney.
Recieved a call today From one of my tennants, they are boyfriend and girlfriend. Their fighting and she is trying to kick him out. He has moved some stuff out. She wants me to take his name off of the lease (both their names are on it) can i do this? or does he have to contact me and say so himself? Or is there a different route i should go? any and all help would be great. Thanks in advance
