It doesn’t use your phone line. Callers dial your 800 number and hear your message(s). You can’t screen the calls because they go directly to voicemail. I have one of my mailboxes setup to forward the call to my cell phone if a caller wants to talk to me right away.

I use IVM Voice Mail (www.nch.com.au/ivm/). It simply is a software package for your home computer and has multiple mailboxes, menu items, etc. I love it.

Hi, that looks very interesting - and super cost effective compared to the other options. Have you used the service? If so, how is it?

Thanks,

Devon

Does this work if you have one line for internet and it’s not dsl. I have 2 lines in my house and I want some software to screen callers, take messages, etc. will this work with me only having one phone line?
thanks

I use the VoiceCom Basic Messaging. I sometimes have one account
for each property that I have for rent or sale. This way I
can customize the greeting for each property. You can also set it up as an
outgoing greeting only. It’s well worth the price at $9.95/mo
and I don’t tie up my Cellphone vm mailbox.
