To really understand how to get started in mobile home deals, Lonnie’s “Deals on Wheels” book will give you valuable info. The book is truly a bargain. Also his follow up book is very good too.

I am just starting to try to get into the mobile home market and am wanting to buy MH’s to rent out. I am already looking into a couple of deals… But on the most part I’m having problems finding good deals. In Montana the MH prices are unreasonably high. I’ve tried several way’s, putting an ad as a “want to buy your MH” in the newspaper, I just got a lot of real junk at high prices… and looking at vaccant properties with unpaid taxes and running into deadend’s… What book or books do you recommend I start with.
